Fast Facts in the Dakota Conference - Many exciting things have been happening in the Dakota Conference! Here is a quick glance of some of the projects Debra Claymore, NM Coordinator in the Dakota Conference, has been working on.

Project: Win a Friend in Mt. Pleasant, MI - In mid April Elder Bruce Wilkinson was invited to present Project: Win a Friend at Mt. Pleasant SDA Church. Along with Pastor Bentley, they also visited with local municipal office directors and Chairman Fred Cantu, Chief of the Saginaw Chippewa Nation.

NM Project Report: Tzozil Native Evanglism - Expectations were running high as the evangelistic effort began for the Tzotzil Native church group in Port Richey, Florida.

The Church That Will Not Burn - Having survived previous attempts of arson, the Onondaga Nation Seventh-day Adventist Church is already known on the reservation as “the church that will not burn.”

Project: Win a Friend in IA/MO Conference - Being close to the Sac and Fox Nation of Tama, Iowa, a seminar proceeded in the three-church district outside of the Nation in the IA/MO Conference.

2009 Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament - Oneida Indian Nation CEO, Ray Halbritter, began the Thursday morning of June 11th by speaking to a full brigade of enthusiastic golfers. All were ready to enjoy a full day of good golf, good food and wholesome fun at the 2009 Annual Charity Classic Golf Tournament.

Project: Win a Friend in Washington, PA - After attending an Evangelistic Programs meeting in January at the NAD Ministries Convention in Myrtle Beach, Pastor Robert Williams invited Elder Bruce Wilkinson to share Native ministry projects with three of his five churches.

Project: Win a Friend in NNE Conference - In late May of 2009, Northern New England Conference President Elder Mike Ortel requested Elder Bruce Wilkinson to present Project: Win a Friend in the NNE conference.

Project: Win a Friend in Myrtle Beach - Evangelism projects started early in 2009 for Native Ministries when Elder Bruce Wilkinson, North American Division Outreach Training Director, gave a four hour presentation during the Division Ministries Conference held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Project: Win a friend in Chattanooga, TN - In March 2009, Elder Bruce Wilkinson visited North River Community, a Seventh-day Adventist church in Chattanooga, TN to present a recent Native Ministries’ project called “Project: Win a Friend”

New York Conference: Teamwork - Leading the Oneida Native church in systematic outreach preceding an evangelistic effort at the Oneida church, Ben Bernard and church members handed out books and advertisements door-to-door in the local community.

North American Division News - Read our NAD 2008 Year End Report. The Lord is blessing our ministry!

Lake Union News - Native Ministries was recently established in the Lake Union to facilitate efforts to include the more than 300,000 American Indians in the ministry of the Adventist church.
