A “Coats for Kids” project was organized where contributions were received from churches in Bermuda, Canada, North and South Dakota, and North American Division Children’s Ministries. Two hundred and fifty jackets were given to children during the winter months of January through February (where weather sometimes reached 40 below zero degrees!)

A Christian Basketball Camp was held for over 250 Native American students at three different reservation schools. Coaches and basketball players from Walla Walla University and Union College came to help show Christ on and off the courts. Each student that participated received a basketball as well as a t-shirt with an encouraging scripture printed on the back.

Bible study cards were distributed to four Native American communities with several cards returning, each requesting prayer and Bible studies. Many of the responses expressed the need for help in overcoming alcoholism and drug addiction. Please pray that the help is received.

A 5-day series of meetings was held at Red Shirt Table community. Seven people requested Bible studies and 2 of the 7 requested baptismal studies. The same two were baptized the next summer. Praise the Lord!
